Heathen platforms & co-op
Heathen is planned for Windows PC on Steam with single-player and online co-op. A PS5 or Xbox version and the co-op party limit have not been announced.
Where you can play
The announced Steam version is for Windows. There is no announced native macOS or Linux version, and no announced PS5 or Xbox release. That also means there is no console date to compare with the PC release.
English is the listed game language, including audio. Full controller support is included, which is useful if you prefer a controller for first-person dungeon exploration. A controller feature does not itself establish a console port.

Online co-op: what you can plan around
Online co-op is part of Heathen’s announced design, alongside single-player. The developer connects it to the experience of exploring a dungeon with another person, while the game retains its first-person combat and loot-focused progression.
The player limit has not been announced. Neither have local split-screen, crossplay, dedicated servers, join-in-progress behavior or whose world and quest progress a session saves. If one of these features decides whether your group can play together, wait for that detail before planning a party.

Preparing a PC group
Each player can start by comparing the Windows minimum requirements. The published hardware fields are a baseline, with no stated co-op-specific performance target. A frame-rate or network-quality guarantee cannot be drawn from them.
The full release has no announced date. An October demo is planned, but whether it includes online co-op has not been announced. Camera and controller preferences are also worth considering before choosing how to play.
